I hope to soon give my mom a phone call and see how she is doing today. I am glad that my mom is progressing nicely after having broken her hip two weeks ago this morning.

I have yet to find time to post a Wednesday morning blog entry, but hope to be able to do that fairly soon this morning.
My mom is still in the hospital and recuperating just fine. My mom goes to physical therapy and is able to walk with the use of a walker with a physical therapist or nurse. My mom is not ready to return to her home full of stairs with the only bathroom on the top floor.
I did miss getting to read your daily missives on Monday and on Tuesday. I do understand that you were quite busy both days and that you did not have an opportunity to post daily missives on Monday and Tuesday.

That is great that Pat had a very nice Mother's Day on Sunday. That is great that your medical problem is not serious. I do hope that you and Pat can finally get the RV measured for a gate to keep Cooper from escaping when the doors are opened. I do hope that you and Pat will soon get to go to Hot Springs Arkansas and enjoy time in the RV. I do hope that you and Pat are having a very nice Wednesday. Bye!

Darryl took Sarah and Timmy to the children's woodworking workshop at Lowe's. Then he headed for the pool store to give them what for. Darryl will be on their case about ordering the correct motor for our hot tub. Then Darryl will return to our home with Sarah and Timmy.

 "MOOSE HUNTING"
Two guys from Prince George would go moose hunting every year without success. Year after year, they hunted and hunted, but always came home without a moose.
Finally they came up with a foolproof plan. They rented a very authentic cow moose costume and learned the mating call of a cow moose. The plan was to hide inside the costume, lure in a bull moose, then come out of the costume, surprising the moose before shooting it.
So, they set themselves up on the edge of a clearing, (in their costume), and gave the moose love call. Before long their call was answered by a large bull moose roaming around the edge of the forest. They called again, and the moose answered closer to them. They called again, and the moose answered, then came crashing out of the forest and into the clearing. As the moose's pounding hoof beats got closer the guy in front says, "OK, let's get out and get him".
After a moment the guy in the back shouts: "HEY, THE ZIPPER'S STUCK, WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO!?"
The guy in the front says, "Well, I'm going to start nibbling grass, but you better brace yourself!"

I am having a good day. My days will be less busy as our home school year is quickly winding down to an end. As we complete each subject we have less work to do in the days to follow. Sarah is looking forward to the long summer break with no school work.

I did speak with my mom on the phone this afternoon. My mom is able to walk with help but she is in a great deal of pain afterwards. My mom had not seen the surgeon since the surgery was done on Thursday evening. My mom is in a lot of pain and her leg is swollen. My mom is not happy with the care that she is getting at the hospital. My mom is not ready to go home as there is no one there to help her with everything.
I do hope that your appointment with the doctor was not too upsetting for you this afternoon. I do hope that there is nothing really seriously wrong with you. God bless you! Bye!
